Women's Volleyball tops Jackson State on Senior Night

HUNTSVILLE — Jayla Norman led Alabama A&M with 12 kills and an ace as the Bulldogs topped Jackson State 3-1 Sunday afternoon in a Southwestern Athletic Conference women's volleyball match.

Alabama A&M won the match 25-21, 16-25, 25-21. 25-23.

Before the match, Alabama A&M recognized its four seniors: Jaelin Gant, Josie Daffin, Karen Asprilla and Terra Brooks.

Maya Evans finished with 10 kills and eight blocks for Alabama A&M (18-13, 14-3 in SWAC), while Alana Cox had 10 kills and three blocks. Terra Brooks added eight kills, two aces and four blocks, while Megan Evans had two kills and 38 assists. Jaelin Gant finished with six kills and 17 digs.

Camry Dabney had 14 kills for Jackson State (16-17, 12-4).

Alabama A&M travels to Alabama State on Friday to close out the regular season.
