Box Score DENVER — Ivy Wallen scored 33 points as North Alabama topped Alabama A&M 80-65 Friday afternoon in the opening game of the Denver Thanksgiving Tournament.

North Alabama (4-2) made 11 3-pointers, building a 15-point halftime lead and taking a 62-47 cushion into the fourth period.

Wallen made 5 of 9 attempts from beyond the 3-point arc, while her twin sister, Emma Wallen also made 5 3s and finished with 23 points.

Dariuana Lewis led Alabama A&M (2-4) with 26 points and six rebounds. DeShawna Harper and Jameica Cobb each added nine points for the Bulldogs.

Alabama A&M plays Denver on Saturday.
