LEXINGTON, Ky. ^__ The Alabama A&M track and field teams saw more improvement as they competed at the University of Kentucky Jim Green Invitational, a two-day meet held at the Nutter Fieldhouse Friday and Saturday, Jan. 10-11.
 
Highlights

• Sophomore Demetrius Hurry finished the weight throw event with a best of 15.62 meters, which placed him 1st among SWAC competitors in the event so far this season.
• Junior Diamond Griffin finished 5th in the 600m with a time of 1:35.97 and 8th in the 800m with a time of 2:19.34.
• Freshman Brandon McLaren finished 7th in the 60m  (8.35s) and long jump (6.90m) over the weekend.
