HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M's (4-2, 2-1 SWAC) upcoming women's basketball games scheduled against Southern and Alcorn State at Elmore Gymnasium, originally slated to be played on Saturday, January 23 and Monday, January 25, respectively, have been postponed as a result of ongoing COVID-19 procedures within the program.
With both dates scheduled to be doubleheaders, the men's basketball schedule has also been adjusted. The Bulldogs will now play at 2 p.m. against Southern on Saturday, January 23 and at 6 p.m. vs. Alcorn State on Monday, January 25.
The decision to postpone the women's games aligns with both Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) and Alabama A&M COVID-19 procedures. At this time, no makeup dates have been scheduled for either contest. The health and welfare of the program's student-athletes and staff will continue to drive these decisions.
Following the postponements, the Bulldogs next scheduled women's basketball game is slated for Saturday, January 30 at Prairie View A&M. Stay tuned to
