HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M women's cross country continued their 2021 season at the UAH Invitational finishing 29-of-33 in an NCAA meet on Saturday, October 9.
The Bulldogs had five competitors in the women's 5k race, headlined by senior
Sabria Wooten (Dallas, Ga.) and her 167-of-292 finish. She would cover the distance in a time of 20:08.46 while junior
Aneisha Ingram (Frankfield, Jamaica.) finished 227
th with a time of 21:26.00.
Freshman
Taylor Wingo (D'Iberville, Miss.) crossed the line in 234
th (21:37.32) while her teammate freshman
Ti'Yanna Watson (Mobile, Ala.) stopped the clock at 28:53.68 and finished 281
st. Rounding out the field for AAMU was Brayanna Washington with a time of 35:16.85 placing 281
th.
The Bulldogs will take to the course again at the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championships on Monday, October 19. Race time is still to be announced in Clinton, Miss.
