Rodrigo Arana Rios (Playa Del Carmen, Mexico) fell to the Blazers' Roman Postolka and Michal Lusovsky, 6-1, on Court one before Parker Bradbary and Giovani Pasini defeated senior
German Ruiz Crespo (Malaga, Spain) and sophomore
Natiphat Mulada (Delray Beach, Fla.) 6-2 on court three.
In singles, the Bulldogs fell in the first match as Arana Rio fell to Postolka 6-2, 6-1, while sophomore
Fermin Ruiz Gespo (Mollina, Spain) fell 6-1 in straight sets. On court six, Ruiz Crespo fell to Vojtech Podzemny 6-1, 6-3 to clinch the match for the UAB.
Alabama A&M will return to play on Friday, February 19 against rival Alabama State as they begin the SWAC Roundup in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
