PRATTVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M men's golf returned to the course for the first time in nearly a year as they sit 6-of-6 after a darkness shortened Day 1 at the ASU Spring Kickoff Classic on Sunday, February 21. One of a number of teams to not complete their second round, the Bulldogs shot a 348 over the first 18 holes.
Competing on the Senator course of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, junior
Jason Johnson (Toledo, Ohio) shot an 82 to finish tied for 16-of-33 while sophomore
Adric Kimbrough (Nashville, Tenn.) tied for 26
th with an 87. Junior
Conner McMillan (Oxford, Ind.), senior
Nylan Washington (Decatur, Ga.) and sophomore
Torrance Allen II (Ellenwood, Ga.) finished in 29
th (89), 30
th (90) and 31
st (91), respectively, to round out the A&M contingent.
Murray State leads the field with a 307 and is followed by Western Illinois (317), Alabama State (318), Savannah State (323), Chicago State (324) and the Bulldogs.
