PRATTVILLE, Ala. – Having seen their first day interrupted by darkness, Alabama A&M men's golf completed the ASU Spring Kickoff Classic at 6-of-6 following two rounds on Monday, February 22. The Bulldogs shot a 348-348-350-1,046 over the course of 54 holes.
Sophomore
Torrance Allen II (Ellenwood, Ga.) moved up four spots over the final 36 holes, shooting a 91-80-85-256 to finish 27-of-33 while fellow sophomore
Adric Kimbrough (Nashville, Tenn.) fired rounds of 87-87-83-257 to come in in a tie for 28
th.
Junior
Jason Johnson (Toledo, Ohio) placed 30
th with outings of 82-87-91-260 and was followed by junior
Conner McMillan (Oxford, Ind.) in 31
st at 89-94-91-274. Senior
Nylan Washington (Decatur, Ga.) rounded things out in 32
nd (90-94-94-278).
Murray State won the tournament with a 912 was followed by Western Illinois (929), Alabama State (938), Chicago State (959), Savannah State (970) and A&M.
The Bulldogs are back in action a month from now when they host the Alabama A&M Golf Classic from March 22-23. That tournament will be held at the Hampton Cove Golf Course in Huntsville, Alabama.
