FLORENCE Ala. – Alabama A&M women's cross country competed in their second meet of the 2021 season at the North Alabama Invitational, finishing 7-of-13 in an NCAA Division I meet on Friday, September 10.
The Bulldogs had five competitors in the women's 5k race, headlined by junior Aneisha Ingram (Frankfield, Jamaica) and her 52-of-106 finish. She would cover the distance in a time of 20:31.77 while senior Sabria Wooten (Dallas, Ga.) finished four spots behind her with a time of 20:35.84.
Freshman Taylor Wingo (D'Iberville, Miss.) crossed the line in 62
nd (21:12.64) while her teammate freshman De'Ajene Johnson (Detroit, Mich.) stopped the clock at 22:49.76 and finished 74
th.
Rounding out the field for AAMU was freshman Ti'Yanna Watson (Mobile, Ala.) with a time of 27:42.81 placing 95
th.
The Bulldogs will take to the course again at the North Alabama Showcase on Friday September, 17. Race time is scheduled for 8:15 a.m. in Huntsville, Alabama.
