MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Alabama A&M women's cross country continued their 2021 season at the Montevallo Falcon Classic, finishing 5-of-9 and having three top 20 finishes in an NCAA meet on Friday, September 17.

Tamika Kinchen. There is still more work to be done but we are moving in the right direction and will take the next few weeks to prepare for the SWAC Championship next month.
The Bulldogs had five competitors in the women's 5k race, headlined by senior
Sabria Wooten (Dallas, Ga.) and her 13-of-77 finish. She would cover the distance in a time of 21:09.70 while junior
Aneisha Ingram (Frankfield, Jamaica.) finished three spots behind her with a time of 21:43.10.
Freshman
Taylor Wingo (D'Iberville, Miss.) crossed the line in 19
th (22:02.90) while her teammate freshman
De'Ajene Johnson (Detroit, Mich.) stopped the clock at 26:39.00 and finished 57
th.
Rounding out the field for AAMU was freshman
Ti'Yanna Watson (Mobile, Ala.) with a time of 30:35.40 placing 67
th.
The Bulldogs will take to the course again at the UAH Invitational on Saturday October, 9. Race time is still to be announced in Huntsville, Alabama.
