HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M (1-6-1, 0-0-0 SWAC) women's soccer will travel to Itta Bena, Mississippi to battle against Mississippi Valley State (0-4-0, 0-0-0 SWAC) on Friday, September 24 for the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) opener for both teams. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m.
It will be the first meeting between the teams since October 11, 2019 when the Bulldogs won 5-2 in Itta Bena. Overall, the series is tied 7-7-5 dating back to October 13, 2003.
AAMU is coming off an impressive 8-0 victory over S.C. State on Sunday, September 19 while MVSU will be searching for its first victory of the season following a 5-0 defeat from Arksansas-Little Rock on Tuesday, September 21.
