HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M men's golf returns home and will welcome 13 teams to the 2022 AAMU Collegiate Golf Invitational at Hampton Cove, a Robert Trent Jones course, from October 31 through November 1.
 
This year's tournament will feature an eight-team men's field and six teams for the women's tournament. The men's will feature Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Alabama State, Tennessee State, North Carolina Central, Chicago State, Prairie View, Lehigh and Evansville while the women will see TSU, NCCU, PVAMU and ASU double up with Bethune-Cookman and Eastern Illinois rounding out the field.
 
The northern gateway to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, Hampton Cove is a 54-hole facility that features The Highlands and The River Course, two very different venues. The River is the only RTG course without a single bunker and harkens back to an earlier time of course design while The Highlands, which this field will compete on, was renovated in 2008 and was returned to its Scottish Links heritage.
 
Among those representing the Bulldogs will be graduate Jason Johnson (Toledo, Ohio), junior Felipe Gomez Lopez (Bogota, Columbia), sophomores BK Kim (Winter Garden, Fla.) and Fabian Sanchez Torres (Bogota, Colunbia) and Niall Bagnall.
