HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M Athletics officially kicked off the 2022-23 season with Maroon Madness at Elmore Gymnasium on Thursday, October 6.
 
Fans were entertained throughout the night by a DJ and got their first look at the Bulldogs' men's and women's basketball teams prior to putting their talents on display on the court. Those included skill work and a three-point shootout by Bulldog luminaries that included President Dr. Daniel Wims and Director of Athletics Paul Bryant. There were also games and prizes throughout the night.
 
It was just a taste of what is on tap for 2022-23 with the women opening at Alabama on Monday, November 7 and the men opening the season at home against North Alabama on Thursday, November 10.
