Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Alabama A&M (2-7, 2-1 SWAC) fell by a 7-0 score at Belmont (8-3, 1-3 OVC) in an NCAA Division I men's tennis match on Sunday, March 20.
 
The Bruins took the early lead in doubles as freshman Freddie Lawrence and junior German Ruiz Crespo (Mollina, Spain) were defeated 6-3 by Grant Kelly and Alfred Wallin at No. 3. Freshman Vence Ntcha and Matis Torres-Ramis fell 6-2 against Arthur Toledo and Taisei Miyamoto at No. 2. 
 
After the doubles portion, Belmont wasted no time during singles as Ntcha fell 6-1, 6-1 to Toledo at No. 1 while Lawrence was defeated 6-1, 6-0 by Wallin. Luis delivered a 6-2, 6-0 decision against junior Rodrigo  Arana Rios (Playa Del Carmen, Mexico) at No. 2.  Torres-Ramis fell 6-3, 6-1 to Miyamoto at No. 5.
 
The most impressive performances came from freshman Divesh Gahlot (Haryana, India) who fought against Castro before falling 4-6, 6-3, 10-8 at No. 4. and sophmore  Natiphat Mulada (Korat, Thailand) who battled through three sets, winning one with a 4-6, 7-5, 10-7 decision at No. 3.
 
Alabama A&M will return home on Saturday, March 26 to battle against Alabama State. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
