HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Coming off of a convincing victory over the defending Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Tournament Champions, Alabama A&M (3-6, 1-0 SWAC) wraps up a trip through the Lone Star State as they take on Texas Southern (0-7-2, 0-1-0 SWAC) on Sunday, September 25. Game time is slated for 1 p.m. in Houston, Texas.
The Bulldogs snapped a five-game losing streak with a strong 4-1 victory at Prairie View (9/23) while TSU is winless in their last 10 dating back to last season. Most recently that stretch has seen back-to-back ties, 1-1 vs. Texas A&M-San Antonio (9/18) and 0-0 vs. Alabama State (9/23).
In a series that dates all the way back to 2003, the clubs are
deadlocked at 7-7-1 but A&M has claimed the last two. Those came in the form of a 1-0 victory in Houston on March 26, 2021 and 2-0 in Huntsville on October 3, 2021.
