POTOMAC, Md. – Alabama A&M men's golf closed out the season-opening USF-Howard Intercollegiate with the final 18 holes on Tuesday, September 27, finishing 9-of-9. The Bulldogs shot a 328-327-347-1,002 to over the course of the tournament.
Junior
Felipe Gomez Lopez (Bogota, Columbia) led the way as he shot an 80-77-82-239 to tie for 36-of-54 while and sophomore
BK Kim (Won Ju, South Korea) was three spots back in 39
th. He shot 76-81-83-240 over 54 holes.
San Francisco claimed the tournament title with an 866 and was followed by Howard (877), George Washington (877), Virginia Commonwealth (893) and Maryland (908) to round out the top five.
The Bulldogs will now be off until they head to the TVA Community Credit Union Invitational from October 17-18. That event will be hosted by nearby North Alabama at Turtle Point Country Club in Florence, Alabama.
