HUNTSVILLE – The Alabama A&M men's tennis program will hit the road this weekend for their season opener on the road against Mercer on Saturday, January 28. The contest will be held at the Randy Stephens Tennis Center and is set to start at 10 a.m.

Saturday's match will be the season opener for Alabama A&M. The Bulldogs had a difficult 2022 season, finishing 4-14 overall, with two of the wins come in Southwestern Athletic Conference play. This is the second consecutive year where Alabama A&M will open the year against Mercer, as the Bulldogs were swept in Macon last January. 
 
Mercer has been idle since January 16 after the season began with road losses to Alabama (Jan. 13) and Kennesaw State. The matchup on Saturday will serve as the first home match for the Bears on the year.
