HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | It was another beautiful day at the Hampton Cove RTJ on Tuesday as the Alabama A&M University men's golf team finished fourth at the AAMU Fall Classic.

The Bulldogs nearly had the best day during the final round, shooting a 298. Chicago State shot the best round, carding a 296.

Alabama State won the tournament, firing a final-round 300 and finished with an 886 over the 36-hole event. Arkansas-Pine Bluff claimed second with a 903 and Chicago State placed third with a 907. LeMonye-Owen rounded out the field with a 1,097.

On Tuesday,
Gage Flowers and
Kourey Patterson each shot 1-over-par 73s, while
Samuel Boddie was 2 over (73). Naill Bagnall carded a 78 and Fabian Sanchez shot an 81.Â

Pablo Riveira, of Chicago State, had the best round, carding a 2-under-par 70.

Alabama A&M closes out its fall season Nov. 6-7 at the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Invitational at the Oxmoor Valley – RTJ Golf Trail in Birmingham, Ala.Â
