Bailey Duckett each recorded nine kills, but it wasn't enough as the Alabama A&M University volleyball team saw its nine-match winning streak come to an end in a 3-0 loss to Prairie View A&M, concluding play at the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Roundup at the Lee E. Williams Assembly Center.

Prairie View A&M (15-12 overall, 10-3 SWAC) swept the match with scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-12.

Alabama A&M (10-17, 9-4) finished with 26 kills in 73 total attacks, 26 assists, 24 digs and five solo blocks.

Mackenzie Jefferson dished out a team-leading 10 assists, while
Grace Tapscott was behind her with nine. Defensively,
Michell Jerez led with 11 digs in the contest.

Prairie View finished with 43 kills in 81 total attacks, 41 assists, 33 digs, and eight solo blocks.
Kylee Owens led the Panthers with 13 kills, Leah Lawson dished out all 41 assists for the team, and defensively Jaqueline Nino had 12 digs.
