MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University volleyball team fell to Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) rival Alabama State 3-0 at Lockhart Gymnasium on Friday.
 
Alabama State (15-12 overall, 14-0 SWAC) swept the match with scores of 25-11, 25-20, 25-15.
 
Alabama A&M (10-18, 9-5) finished with 22 kills in 66 total attacks, 22 assists, 14 digs and six solo blocks.
 
Bailey Duckett led the Bulldogs offensively with eight digs. Mackenzie Jefferson dished out a team-leading 13 assists and led defensively with five digs. Ajanae Cressey had four solo blocks in the contest.
 
Alabama State finished with 49 kills in 85 total attacks, 46 assists, 29 digs and eight solo blocks.
 
A'Nylah Cobb led the Hornets with 12 kills,  Emily Brooks dished out 20 assists for the team and defensively Jada Rhodes had ten digs in the contest.

Alabama A&M has concluded its road swing for the season and will play the final two contests starting next Friday, Nov. 10^th, against Jackson State at T.M Elmore Gymnasium. First serve is at 6 p.m.
