PINE-BLUFF Ark. |Â The Alabama A&M University volleyball team dominated a three-set match, sweeping SWAC opponent Alcorn State Braves 3-0 Monday at the H.O. Clemens Arena to conclude their trip in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Cluster.
The Bulldogs (4-16 overall, 3-3 SWAC) claimed the match over the Braves (1-11, 1-5 SWAC) with scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-17.
Alabama A&M finished with 32 kills in 97 total attacks, 40 digs, 25 assists, and four total blocks points in the contest.Â
Caitlin Shaw led the Bulldog offense with seven kills, while
Keyara Brooks recorded nine assists. Defensively,
Michell Jerez posted a team-high 16 digs.
Alcorn State finished with 42 kills in 101 total attacks, 47 digs, 23 assists, and three total blocks.
Makayla Wardlaw led the Braves with 15 kills, while Alissa Williams dished out 12 assists. Harmoni Carswell registered 15 digs.
