HUNTSVILLE, Ala. __ The Alabama A&M men's tennis team will host their second home match of the season on Friday as are set to face Austin Peay State on campus at 1 p.m.
The Bulldogs (0-3, 0-0 SWAC) are looking for their first win of the spring, after falling in non-conference matchups on the road to Mercer (Jan. 28) and Middle Tennessee State (Feb. 5), before dropping their home-opener against Samford (Feb. 12). They will host Austin Peay State for the first time since 2010.
Chetanna Amadike (Calgary, Canada) leads A&M so far, with a pair of wins in singles play.
Austin Peay comes into the matchup at 1-3, after falling to No. 21 Middle Tennessee State in their last match, 6-1. The lone win for the Govs came at home against Oakland City (Jan. 29) as they took down the Mighty Oaks by a score of 5-2.
