BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. __Â A pair of Alabama A&M golfers finished day one in the top 15 individually at the Aggie Invitational at Bryan Park Champions Course.

Kim Byeongkwan and
Felipe Gomez Lopez finished the day tied for 15th with a 151 total, shooting seven over-par. Gomez Lopez shot an opening round 75 before 76 to close out the day, while Byeongkwan shot a 77 in round one before a 74 for his 151 shot total.

Three other A&M golfers competed in the event, with freshman
Niall Bagnall landing tied for 36th at 16-over (160), followed by Juan Ray Gaitin (165, 21-over) and
Jason Johnson (166, 22-over) at 42nd and 44th respectively.

The Bulldogs are in 8th place after the first day at 625. Action will continue Tuesday morning, as the field of 83 competitors return to the course and finish play, with the final day to conclude the tournament.
