BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – The Alabama A&M golf program finished competition in the Aggie Invitational on Tuesday afternoon, knocking out the last round of play at the Bryan Park Champions Course.
The Bulldogs finished the week sixth out of nine teams, tallying scores of 311 on the final day of action after shooting 306 and 319 on opening day, for a final score of 936. Elon completed a clean sweep at the top of the leaderboard, winning with a 7-over 871, with Landon Durham taking the individual title, finishing with a 2-under 214.
Junior
Felipe Gomez Lopez led the effort for the maroon and white, shooting a 72 in the final round on Tuesday, finishing tied for eighth among 50 individuals, posting a two-day total of 7-over 223.

Tying for 22nd overall was
Kim Byeongkwan, carding a score of 82 on the final day of action, good for a total of 17-over 233. Next among the Bulldog competitors wasÂ
Niall Bagnall, registering a final round of 79 for a total of 23-over 239, followed by
Juan Ray Gaitan at a total of 243 after shooting a 78 and finally
Jason Johnson with a 33-over 249 total.

Alabama A&M will return to play on April 10 as they compete in the Big Blue Intercollegiate, hosted by Tennessee State at the Hermitage Golf Course.
