HUNTSVILLE, Ala. __ Alabama A&M baseball has announced a change in schedule for the remainder of its home series against conference opponent Bethune-Cookman for the weekend.
Due to inclement weather, the contest originally set for Friday at noon has been pushed to Saturday afternoon, April 8, with first pitch set for 1 p.m. at Bulldog Field.
Â
A&M (11-16, 2-8 SWAC) fell late to the Wildcats (17-13, 8-2 SWAC) in Thursday night's matchup, despite scoring in double figures and leading 9-8 heading into the ninth. Four different Bulldogs drove in two runs each on the day, including
Chevalier Dorris,
Tommy Easley,
Blake Martin, and
Chandler Stocking.
Â
Alabama A&M will look to end a two-game slide against Bethune-Cookman, as well as earn their first home win against the Wildcats, as their lone win in the last 12 meetings was a 5-4 victory in Daytona Beach on May 14, 2022.
