BESSEMER, Ala.
__ Alabama A&M men's golf finished tied for sixth after the final round of the PGA Works Championship after shooting 52-over par over the three-day span of competition at the Shoal Creek Club.
Wednesday was a tough day for the Bulldogs as a team, as they fell four spots on the final day of play, shooting a combined 19-over and 307 stroke total. A&M finished the championship event tied with Prairie View A&M, after both programs finished at 912.
Kim Byeongkwan continued to lead the Bulldogs in their final tournament despite dropping a spot on the individual leaderboard. The sophomore finished play with a four-over par overall and tied for seventh after shooting a 79 (+7) on Wednesday, accounting for a shot total of 219 through 54 holes.
Meanwhile, teammate
Jason Johnson finished in the top 15 after having a final 78 and total shot count of 226. Junior Felipe Gomez finished at a tie for 32nd with a 11-over 83 on day three of play, while
Niall Bagnall ended play 41st on the leaderboard after a closing round of 87 and had 235 total strokes through 3 rounds.
