SWAC Digital Network Releases Men's and Women’s Basketball Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Alabama A&M men's and women's basketball teams will have three games on the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Digital Network, the conference office announced on Wednesday.  


 

A record number of league men's and women's basketball (40) are set to be broadcast on the SWAC Digital Network, with coverage concluding on Saturday, March 8.  



The Alabama A&M and Alabama State rivalry game on January 18th will kick off the SWAC Digital Network games for the Bulldogs. AAMU will travel to Florida A&M on February 1st for another SDN game, and will conclude its network games on March 6th at Grambling State.

The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) is considered one of the premier HBCU conferences in the country and currently ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of HBCU alumni playing with professional sports teams. 
  
Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field and Tennis. 
 
Women's competition is offered in the sports of Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field, Soccer, Softball, Tennis and Volleyball.
