THE HILL | The Alabama A&M women's volleyball team is set to host their final matches of the season on Friday and Sunday at the T.M. Elmore Gymnasium. Friday night, the Bulldogs will face the Alcorn Braves at 6 p.m. The match will serve as Heroes Appreciation night, and fans are encouraged to wear camouflage. Tip-off against the Southern Jaguars is set for 3 p.m. Sunday's contest will serve as Senior Day with the recognition ceremony to begin at 1:30.  
 

AAMU (6-20, 4-10) returns home after going 1-1 during its final road contests, dropping a 3-1 battle to Jackson State and sweeping Mississippi Valley State 3-0. In the match against the Devilettes, the Bulldog offense was led by seniors Fatima Ramirez and Saldy Amparo-Smith, who recorded eight and six kills respectively. Ramirez and Kennedy Robinson led the team in digs, with eight a piece while Saniya Spalding blocked a team-high five balls. 
 

Alcorn State (1-23, 0-0 SWAC) looks for their first conference win as they enter their final weekend of volleyball. The Braves are led offensively by Ramona Pulu, who has 113 kills and 196 assists this season. Harmoni Carswell leads the Braves in service aces, with 26, and paces the Braves defensively with 231 digs. The Maroon and White lead 32-1 in the all-time series against the Braves.  
 

Southern University (9-9-2, 5-1-2 SWAC) looks to continue their four-game win streak after defeating Grambling State in a 3-2 battle. After losing the first two sets, SU made a comeback to win the final three sets and claim the victory. Alicia Hearn finished the match with nine kills and five blocks, while Jordan Felix recorded a season high 32 assists. Najah Harris tallied a career and season high 28 digs. The Maroon and White lead 15-4 in the all-time series against the Jags.
