Kickoff against the Delta Devils is set for 12 p.m. from Rice-Totten Stadium.
Â
Alabama A&M (5-5 overall, 3-3 SWAC), which haven't won two consecutive road games since the end of the 2020-21 season, closed out its home campaign last Thursday (Nov. 14) with a 22-17 come-from-behind win over Grambling State. Kicker

Â
Mississippi Valley State (1-10, 1-6) walked into Bragg Memorial Stadium last Saturday, a place where no team has won since 2018, and came out victorious with a 24-21 thriller over Florida A&M. Â
Alabama A&M head coach
Connell Maynor said last Thursday's win over Grambling State was a good performance despite the slow start.
Â
"We got off to a slow start," Maynor said. "The defense didn't. The defense played well. The offense got off to a slow start with six points in the first half. We weren't playing our best football but was playing good solid football. Defense played great in the second half, not allowing a point. We still need to execute better in the red zone by scoring touchdowns instead of kicking field goals.
Â
"They (Mississippi Valley State) won their first game last week by beating FAMU on the road. They are coming off a big victory, their first victory of the season, so they will be coming into the game with a lot of confidence. We've got to go out there and match the intensity early, grab the lead and maybe quiet that crowd."
