NASHVILLE, Tenn. | The 7-4 Alabama A&M women's basketball team end the year in Music City where they will face the 12-1 Vanderbilt Commodores on Sunday. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m. in Memorial Gymnasium. Live streaming is available on SEC Network with Sam Gore and Tamika Catchings on the call. Sunday's contest will end an eight-game road stretch for the Bulldogs. AAMU went 1-1 their last time out, falling to Tulane and earning a rebound win against Central Arkansas during the Tulane Holiday Tournament. Alabama A&M has solidified the best preseason record in the Division I era, seeing plenty success on the road with a 5-1 catalog.  Senior Alisha Wilson earned her third double-double of the season after posting a season-high 17 points and 15 rebounds in the game against UCA. She also nabbed a game-high five steals. Senior Darian Burgin picked up 11 points of her own, scoring in double figures for the second consecutive game.  
 

The Commodores continue a four-game homestand after posting a 103-68 win over West Georgia their last time on the hardwood. Mikayla Blakes led the scoring for VU against UWG with 24 points. Khamil Pierre added her fourth-straight double-double with a 23 point, 10-rebound performance. Her double-double was the 10th of the season and second most in NCAA Division I.  
 

The matinee will serve as the fourth time the Bulldogs and Commodores have faced each other, with Vandy claiming the first three games.
