MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University men's golf team finished the second and final round eighth at the 2024 ASU Spring Classic, hosted by Alabama State, at the Robert Trent Jones Memorial Trail.
The Bulldogs shot a final round 333 and finished eighth with a 693 as Alabama State won the event with a 613 after firing a final round 319. Chicago State was third, with a 637, followed by Western Illinois (639), Texas Southern (661), Miles (665), Savannah State (674) and Southern rounded out the field.
Juan Rey finished tied for 29
th with a 168, followed by
Bryson Hannah, who shot 7 over during the final round and carded a 170 to finish tied for 31
st.
Kourey Patterson fired a 177 and
Samuel Boddie recorded a 178.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff's Jose Berenguel fired a final round 4-over-par 76 and was the co-medalist with Alabama State's Miguel Ilas as the two finished with 150s.
