HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University women's basketball team takes its two-game winning streak on the road and into the Sunshine State for a pair of Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) games, starting on Saturday in Daytona Beach, Fla.
The Bulldogs open the road trip on Saturday against Bethune-Cookman, with the tip-off scheduled for 1 p.m. (CT), and conclude the road swing on Monday at Florida A&M. Tip-off against the Rattlers is set for 5 p.m. (CT).
Alabama A&M (12-13 overall, 7-6 SWAC) will seek to complete the season sweep of Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M on this road trip as the Bulldogs are coming off a 67-59 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Monday. Bethune-Cookman (14-12, 5-8) is riding a three-game losing streak after falling, 52-39, on Monday at Jackson State. Florida A&M (7-17, 6-7), which plays host to Alabama State on Saturday, have dropped two straight after a 64-49 setback on Monday at Alcorn State.

Alabama A&M led by as many as 15 points but were forced to overtime as Bethune-Cookman stormed back to tie the game at 67 at the end of regulation.
Amiah Simmons paced the Bulldogs with 17 points, six rebounds, four assists and one steal, while
Alisha Wilson grabbed a game-high 18 boards, along with 15 points for a double-double.
Kaylah Turner added 15 points and
Darian Burgin tossed in 12 points.
Karianna Woods led the Wildcats with 26 points and eight boards, while Kayla White chipped in 16 points.
LAST MEETING VERSUS FLORIDA A&M
The Rattlers outscored the Bulldogs, 27-7, in the third quarter as Florida A&M led, 53-46, entering the final period. However, Alabama A&M erased a 17-point deficit with a 35-point fourth quarter as the Bulldogs rallied for a 71-69 advantage.
Amiah Simmons paced AAMU with 30 points, while
Kaylah Turner and
Darian Burgin recorded 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Alisha Wilson added 12 boards and seven points in the come-from-behind win.
Ahriahna Grizzle posted a game-high 31 points, along with seven rebounds, four steals and four assists, while Olivia Delancy tallied 19 points.
