HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University women's tennis team stepped back into Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play on Saturday, but dropped a 4-0 decision to rival Alabama State at the AAMU Tennis Courts.
Alabama State (11-6 overall, 8-0 SWAC) captured the doubles point by winning at No. 1 and No. 2.
Alabama A&M could not rally in singles play as the Hornets sealed the victory with wins at No. 2, No. 5 and No. 6.
