THE HILL |  Alabama A&M University head women's tennis coach Willis Mbandi announced the signing of Sunira Thapa, who will compete for the Bulldog Tennis Program. 

Sunira had a career high 860 ITF Junior Ranking and was ranked #1 in Nepal. Sunira has represented her country in the Billie Jean King Cup and represented Nepal in the Asian Games. 

"We're excited to welcome Sunira to Alabama A&M this Fall. Her dedication to her growth and development shone through in the recruiting process. She has played at a high level on both the national and international stages, including representing Nepal in the Billie Jean King Cup and Asian Games. We believe Sunira's work ethic and willingness to learn are a great fit for our program."
