BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Alabama A&M women's tennis earned strong recognition in the SWAC postseason awards, with multiple Bulldogs securing All-Conference honors following a competitive 2026 campaign.
Leading the way, Alicia Owegi was named Second Team All-SWAC at No. 1 singles, showcasing her consistency at the top of the lineup throughout the season. The Bulldogs continued to make their presence felt at No. 3 singles, where Sofia Sotelo Raya earned First Team All-SWAC honors after an impressive year in the middle of the lineup.
Alabama A&M also saw Nardine Salem recognized at No. 6 singles, earning Second Team All-SWAC honors and adding to the team's depth across the board.
With representation across multiple singles positions, the Bulldogs demonstrated resilience and growth throughout the season, positioning themselves as a program on the rise within the conference.
