HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University women's tennis team celebrated Senior Day with a 7-0 victory over Tuskegee on Friday at the AAMU Tennis Courts.
The Bulldogs (5-13) swept all three doubles matches to claim the point.
In singles play, Alabama A&M won all six matches, with two of them going to three sets.
At No. 1,
Ntokozo Zungu outlasted Tanyaradzwa Kaome, 3-6, 6-2, 6-4, while
Ariadna Ondo Cerezo beat Taylor Ford, 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2.
Alicia Owegi also went three sets, defeating Dayna Jackson at No. 3, 6-7, 7-6, 1-0.
Gabrielle Henderson knocked off Chloe Griffin-Harrin, 7-5, 6-2, at No. 4, while
Hannah Nagpall rolled past Jamiya Ivory, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 5. At No. 6,
Sofia Sotelo Raya beat Barbara Phillips, 6-0, 6-1.

Alabama A&M has two matches remaining in the regular season as the Bulldogs visit Samford on Thursday, before ending the season on Friday at home against Tennessee State. First serve at Samford is set for 1 p.m.
