PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. | The Alabama A&M University men's golf team wrapped up its 2024 spring season on Wednesday during the final round of the PGA Works Men's Golf Championship at TPC Sawgrass.
Alabama A&M carded a final-round 352 and finished the three-round tournament with a 1,020 to place ninth.
Florida A&M won the tournament with an 891. Alabama State placed second at 920, followed by North Carolina A&T State (938), Prairie View A&M (939), Chicago State (940), North Carolina Central (943), Tennessee State (943) and Texas Southern (970).
Individually,
Samuel Boddie finished tied for 24
th, shooting a 239.
Niall Bagnall placed 35
th, firing a 253.
Kourey Patterson (tied 38
th),
Bryson Hannah (40
th) and
Emilio Angel (41
st) shot, 261, 271 and 292, respectively, to round out the scoring for the Bulldogs.
Florida A&M's Marcus Taylor shot 2-over-par 218, including a final round 1-under 71, moving up two spots to win the individual medalist honors. Teammate Patrick Mwendapole finished second, five strokes back, with a 223.
