HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | As part of the 2024 schedule, the Alabama A&M University volleyball team will play in three tournaments, including hosting the Betty Austin Invitational, as the regular season begins on August 30.
"The team's focus during the preseason is to continually test themselves both at home and on the road. Our opponents this year span a wide range of conferences, including BIG10, Big East, Conference USA, ASUN, SoCon, Big Sky, WAC, and the Summit League," Alabama A&M head coach
Dr. Brandon Reeves said. "We kick off the season at home and are eagerly looking forward to welcoming back the passionate crowds and recreating a dawg pound atmosphere at Elmore.
"Following that, we will be participating in weekend tournaments at American International and Abilene Christian, where we can expect each match to provide a challenge. Subsequently, we will prepare for the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), which is expected to be more competitive and stronger this fall. Each day and each match represent valuable opportunities for us to push ourselves to new heights and continue our growth and development."
