DELAND, Fla. | After a hard fought 90 minutes, the Alabama A&M University Bulldogs (0-3-0) fell to the Stetson Hatters, 3-0, on Thursday evening.
The AAMU offense was paced by freshman Czaske' Dean, with six shots on goal for the night. Senior Jasmine Perez-Acosta also had good looks at the goal, with three shots on target.
The match started out with both sides pressing the ball, but the Hatters would be the first to get on the board in the 16th minute. Dean would record two more SOG in the eight minutes before Stetson notched another tally in the goal column. A pair of shots on both sides of the field would take the match to the half.
The Hatters would get their final goal of the night within the first five minutes of the second half. AAMU would take seven more shots, including two from Dean, and two from freshman Alicia Cohen.
The Bulldogs will face their final match in the four-game road swing on Sunday in Jacksonville, Florida, as they face the North Florida Ospreys at 10 am CT.
