PINE BLUFF, Ark. | Czaske Deane posted a hat trick as the Alabama A&M University women's soccer team rolled to a 4-0 shutout victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff in a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) match on Sunday afternoon at Pumphrey Stadium.
After a scoreless first 20 minutes, Alabama A&M (7-8-1 overall, 4-2-1 SWAC) struck with the opener in the 21
st minute as Deane notched her first goal of the day. Ten minutes later, Deane struck again, firing a shot past UAPB goalkeeper Makaila Riedel, giving the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead.
Charlotte Cuthbertson got into the scoring column in the 34
th minute off an assist from Deane, stretching the AAMU advantage to 3-0. Deane concluded the half in the 38
th minute with her third goal of the game.
