BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University men's golf team shot a final round 6-over par 294 and finished second on Wednesday at the 2025 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Men's Fall Tournament on Tuesday at Oxmoor Valley Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.
The Bulldogs had the best round of the day with the 294 as Prairie View A&M fired a 7-over-par 295. However, the Panthers won the team title by five strokes (590). Arkansas-Pine Bluff (602) and Jackson State (623) rounded out the four-team field.
The Bulldogs got another solid performance by Vincente Rodriguez, who finished tied for third with teammate
Noa Tissot. Both golfers carded 1-over-par 73s and was four shots back of individual winner Kenneth Melendrez (Prairie View A&M), who finished with a 3-under 69 to record a 140.
Lukas Lange and
Samuel Boddie both recorded 150s to claim sixth, while teammate
Kourey Patterson was ninth with a 151.
