Borde Selected to Assist Antigua & Barbuda Women’s National Team

THE HILL | Alabama A&M University Athletics is proud to announce that women's soccer head coach Prince Borde has been selected to join the coaching staff of the Antigua & Barbuda Women's National Team.

Borde, who just completed his third season at Alabama A&M, will assist the Antigua and Barbuda federation as the program continues its competitive ascent in regional and international play. His appointment reflects his growing reputation for elevating player development, implementing dynamic game models, and building competitive, culture-driven programs.

The Antigua and Barbuda Women's National Team will be playing on Thursday against Nicaragua and potentially Borde will be assisting the team in a tournament December 11-20.

"I am honored to support Antigua and Barbuda Women's Soccer and grateful for the trust they've placed in me," Borde said. "Representing my home nation in this capacity is incredibly meaningful. I look forward to bringing back valuable knowledge and perspectives that will continue to elevate our program here at Alabama A&M."

Since taking the helm in Huntsville, Borde has been recognized for strengthening Alabama A&M's recruiting presence, enhancing the program's competitive identity, and fostering a player-first culture that emphasizes academic excellence, character, and on-field discipline.

The partnership underscores the growing trend of NCAA coaches earning roles with national federations, further enriching the student-athlete experience through expanded tactical and cultural perspectives.
