Alabama A&M Opens Outdoor Slate on Friday

THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University men's and women's track and field programs will being its outdoor schedule at 9 a.m. (central time) on Friday at the USF Alumni Invitational as the two-day meet, hosted by the University of South Florida, will be held inside the USF Track & Field Stadium and streamed on ESPN+.
 
"We are excited to get back to work," Alabama A&M head coach Andrew Murphy said. "We've had nearly a month off in between the indoor and outdoor season. We are excited and eager to get back out there and begin this stretch and continue our improvement each meet."
 
Alabama A&M will compete in five meets before ended the spring campaign with the annual Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Track & Field Championships May 11-13 in Baton Rouge, La. The Bulldogs will compete next weekend (March 28-29) at the UAB Spring Invite and open April at the Crimson Tide Invitational (April 11-12) in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
 
Prior to the SWAC Championships, Alabama A&M will participate in the Georgia Tech Invitational (April 18-19) and the Music City Invitational (May 2-3).
 
The 2025 NCAA East Preliminary Round is May 28-31 in Jacksonville, Fla., followed by the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships June 12-14 in Eugene, Oregon.
