ZACHARY, La. | The Alabama A&M University men's golf team captured its second consecutive title on Tuesday, defeating Southern in the Clifton Johnson Intercollegiate at the Beaver Creek Golf Club.
In the dual match, Alabama A&M won by shooting a 6-over par 582 during the two-round event. Southern shot a 600 (24 over).
Lukas Lange, who carded eight birdies in two rounds, fired a 3-under par 141 to win the match by one stroke over Southern's Thomas Reid.
Niall Bagnall claimed third with a 1 over 145, while
Kourey Patterson was fourth (3 over 147).
Samuel Boddie shot a 149 to finish fifth.
Alabama A&M returns to action April 7-8 as the Bulldogs will compete in the TSU Big Blue Invitational at the Hermitage Golf Club in Nashville, Tenn.
