MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University men's tennis team finished the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Tennis Pod II with a perfect record, defeating Alcorn State in a 4-0 decision.
The Bulldogs quickly earned the doubles point after Yin Chih Lan and Agustin Marquez claimed court three from an Alcorn forfeit. The Maroon and White pair of Goran Krivokapic and Arnav Pathange emerged victorious on the second court, taking a 6-2 win against Tomas Grime and David Leon.
In the singles session, Agustin Marquez added a singles point from a Brave forfeiture. Only needing a pair to clinch, Krivokapic saw a double bagel at fifth singles, defeating Grime in straight sets. Pathange won at third singles to solidify the contests result. The Bulldogs led on all remaining courts before they were abandonded, including Tasso Moreira leading 6-2, 4-1.
