Box Score JACKSON, MISS. | The Alabama A&M men's tennis team picked up their second conference victory after sweeping the Southern University Jaguars on Friday afternoon.
For the second time this season, the Maroon and White claimed the doubles session, winning at No. 3 doubles from an SU forfeiture. The pair of Goran Krivokapic and Arnav Pathange went up 5-2, but it was the opening court pair of Kai Cowcher and Tasso Moreira who solidified the Bulldog doubles point after knocking off Gabriel Inyang and Lwazi Ngweya in a 6-2 decision.
Agustin Maruqez earned added a singles point from a Southern forfeiture. Yin Chih Lan picked up his second singles victory, defeating Inyang 6-3, 6-0 at second singles. With the Bulldogs needing just one point to clinch, Krivokapic sealed the deal, claiming a 6-2, 7-5 win against Emmanuel Oudensi at fifth singles.
