BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Niall Bagnall could not overcome four bogeys on the front nine during Wednesday's final round as the Alabama A&M University men's golf team finished fourth in the 2025 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Men's Golf Championship at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Oxmoor Valley.
 
Bagnall began the day just one back of the leaders and shot a 3-over-par 75 to record a 222 for the three rounds, finishing in fifth. On the back nine, Bagnall was 1 under, recording a birdie at No. 14. However, on the front nine, he had three four bogeys to fall out of contention for the individual title. With his fifth-place finish, Bagnall earned All-SWAC First Team honors.
 
Samuel Boddie, who entered the day tied for 11^th, carded a final-round 5-over-par 77 to finish with a 226. In his final round, Boddie registered six bogeys, three birdies and one double bogey in finishing in ninth. By finishing inside the top 10, Boddie received All-SWAC Second Team Honors.
 
Lukas Lange (was tied for 26^th rebounded from his second-round performance on Tuesday by shooting even par. On the back nine, Lange had three bogeys and two birdies and recorded one birdie on the front nine to finish tied for 19^th.
 
Kourey Patterson, who finished tied for 27^th, had his best round of the tournament, shooting a 5-over-par 77 to finish with a 243. He registered three double bogeys, two bogeys and two birdies during his third round.
 
Cornelious Brown IV, who entered the day 35^th, fired a final-round 92 and finished 35^th.
 
Alabama A&M shot a 920 to finish fourth, while Florida A&M held off a charge from Arkansas-Pine Bluff, firing a three-round 880 to win the championship by six strokes. Prairie View A&M captured third with a 910. Texas Southern (932), Alabama State (946) and Southern (951) rounded out the seven-team field.
