Garrett Hicks (played in 2019-23, plays pro in Georgia) led RASHI to an 87-80 victory over Amra Gagra in a derby game in the Georgian Superleague on Tuesday night. Hicks, the MVP, scored 24 points, along with six rebounds in 35 minutes. He is averaging 19.6 points, 5.1 boards, 3.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
Olisa Akonobi (played in 2022-23, plays in Mexico) could not help Frayles de Guasave in a 99-85 loss to Rayos de Hermosillo. Akonobi scored 10 points, grabbed eight rebounds and three blocks. Akonobi is averaging 8.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 20 games.
Xavier Brewer (played in 2022-23, currently in Switzerland) was not able to help Wallabies in a loss against Meyrin in the Swiss NLB (second division). Brewer posted 22 points and seven rebounds in 41 minutes. This season, he is averaging 21.0 points, 8.2 boards, 2.1 steals and 1.9 assists.
