Garrett Hicks (played in 2019-23, plays pro in Georgia) led RASHI to a victory over Batumi, 75-66, in the Georgian Superleague last Saturday. Hicks, the MVP of Saturday's game, registered 29 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals in 36 minutes. He is averaging this season 19.8 points, 4.8 boards, 3.8 assists and 1.8 steals in 16 games.
Olisa Akonobi (played in 2022-23, plays in Mexico) could not help Frayles de Guasave in their last game on Tuesday in a 94-92 loss to Caballeros de Culiacan. Akonobi posted 10 points, five boards and two blocks. This season he is averaging 8.9 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks.
Xavier Brewer (played in 2022-23, plays pro in Switzerland) was the main contributor in Wallabies' 80-75 victory against the fourth-ranked Allschwil in the Swiss NLB (second division) last Wednesday. Brewer, the MVP of the game, recorded a double-double of 17 points and 10 boards, along with six assists and four blocks. This season, he is averaging 21.0 points, 8.3 boards, 2.0 steals and 1.9 assists.
