Olisa Akonobi (played in 2022-23, plays pro in Mexico) contributed to an easy v92-77 ictory against the Halcones de Ciudad Obregon in the Mexican CIBACOPA on Saturday night. He grabbed 14 rebounds, along with eight points and three blocks in 26 minutes. Akonobi is averaging 7.5 boards, 6.5 points and 1.8 blocks per game.
Desmond Jackson (played in 2006-06, currently in the TBL) could not help the Jersey Shore Breaks beat the Capital Seahwaks, falling 114-97 on the road. He scored six points in the loss. This season, Jackson is averaging 5.0 points and 4.2 boards.
